“Forearm Poetry” is a recent project in the works – it takes inspiration from the lore of the writer or poet not having ample paper at the time of his epiphany and writing down his work on anything he can find. In this case, the poems that are photographed, originate from late night ramblings, waking at 2 in the morning with the desperate panicky urge to write down the ideas in my head, the need to get them out, to make them physical – words drawn out from the depths of deep sleep – sketched out on my arm, where it soaks in and fades away – a representational statement on the impermanence of thoughts.
- Rucksack Art ~ my art, my writing, my miss-adventures and every moment I can be present in - these have become a practice in evolving my own perspective - with the intent, that through the creation of my work, these insights are then shared.
The Other Problems…
• A rotating series of sketches entitled Café; A Primeira Aventura featured at Marisa’s Bagel Cafe in Chatham
• Linear Refractions #3: Programmed and Riddled, hanging at the Canaan Congregational Church in Canaan, NY
